Current Inc. manufactures industrial laminates designed for performance in demanding environments where strength, insulation, and dimensional stability are required. Our materials are produced using thermosetting resin systems combined with paper, cotton cloth, carbon cloth, wood veneer, and glass cloth reinforcements. Each laminate is processed under controlled heat and pressure to achieve uniform density, consistent mechanical properties, and reliable machining behavior. These materials support a wide range of OEM, fabrication, and assembly applications.
Our laminated sheets are pressed under high heat and pressure to create stable, rigid panels suitable for electrical insulation, structural components, and precision machined parts. Sheets are available in multiple thicknesses and reinforcement combinations, including paper, wood, cotton, carbon, and glass cloth. Their uniform surface quality and predictable machining characteristics make them ideal for milling, drilling, routing, and turning.
Laminated tubing is produced through a controlled winding process that forms strong, concentric walls with excellent dimensional stability. Tubes are manufactured using thermosetting resins and paper, cotton, or glass reinforcements, creating a material that is lightweight, durable, and easy to machine. These tubes are used for sleeves, bushings, insulators, and custom cylindrical components.
Our laminated rods are machined from sheet material to achieve consistent diameter, straightness, and structural integrity. Rods can be produced in custom lengths and diameters to meet application specific requirements. Their strength and machinability make them suitable for spacers, pins, standoffs, and precision components.
Spacers and standoffs are manufactured using the same resin reinforced materials as our tubing, then machined to print for accurate fit and repeatable performance. These components are used in electrical assemblies, mechanical systems, and structural applications requiring non conductive or lightweight support elements.
Current Inc. provides full machining and fabrication services across all laminate product lines. Capabilities include cutting, milling, slotting, shearing, boring, drilling, tapping, turning, routing, and sanding. Each part is produced to customer specifications with controlled tolerances and consistent finish quality.
Current manufactures industrial laminates in NEMA grade materials such as paper, linen, canvas, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. We use phenolic, epoxy, silicone, and melamine resin systems. These materials can be fabricated into tubes, rods, and sheets. They can also be machined into spacers, standoffs, and other parts. We can also design one specific to you based on your unique applications. Whatever your manufacturing or assembling needs, there’s a Current Inc. product that will improve your product for an affordable price. Our laminated sheets, standoffs, tubing, rod and spacers are created with precision in mind.
