Effective Noise Reduction:

SR1000™ absorbs sound energy and reduces noise transmission, creating quieter environments in boats, vehicles, and equipment.
Vibration Dampening: The viscoelastic formula of SR1000™  helps to minimize vibrations, preventing structural noise caused by engines, machinery, and other equipment.

Easy Application:

SR1000™  can be easily applied by spraying, rolling, or brushing onto surfaces. Once dried, it forms a flexible and durable layer.

Marine and Industrial Grade:

SR1000™  is specifically designed to withstand harsh environments, including those found in marine and industrial settings, making it resistant to water, corrosion, and extreme conditions.

SR500

SR500™  is a versatile noise and vibration damping coating from the Silent Running product line, designed for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications. Like other products in the Silent Running™ range, SR500™ is formulated to reduce sound transmission and control vibrations by converting sound energy into heat.

Key features of SR500™  include:

Noise Reduction:

SR500™ effectively absorbs and dissipates sound energy, reducing airborne and structural noise in environments such as homes, offices, and small machines.

Vibration Dampening:

SR500™ viscoelastic properties help to minimize vibrations, making it ideal for reducing operational noise from equipment or machinery.

User-Friendly Application:

SR500™ can be applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer, allowing for flexible application on various surfaces, including wood, drywall, metal, and more.

Multi-Purpose Use:

While designed for smaller scale projects, SR500™ is durable enough to handle both light commercial and residential applications, offering noise control in HVAC systems, appliances, and home theater setups.

Current Composites formulates and manufactures the Silent Running™ line, including SR1000™ , SR500™ and SRCAR™ .  Silent Running™ is available in 55 Gallons, 5 Gallons, 1 Gallon, Quarts and in Spray Kits.

Key Features and Benefits:

General Properties:
Silent Running™ is a water-based, non-toxic, and VOC-free coating with no harsh smells or vapors. It can be easily cleaned with water before curing.

Adhesion:
Designed as a permanent coating, Silent Running™ adheres exceptionally well to metal, fiberglass, wood, and most plastic surfaces. Proprietary adhesion promoters ensure strong and lasting adhesion, even under extreme temperatures ranging from -30°F to 250°F.

Durability:
Though Silent Running™ dries to a hard finish, it maintains excellent flexibility, preventing cracks or chips even when the substrate flexes, expands, or bends. It cures to become virtually waterproof and highly resistant to gas, oil, and many chemicals.

Flammability:
Silent Running™ is non-flammable and self-extinguishing when exposed to flame.

Safety:
Thanks to its water-based formula, Silent Running™ meets or exceeds all environmental standards and is 100% non-toxic.

Application:
Silent Running™ applies quickly and efficiently, penetrating areas that traditional sound-dampening methods cannot reach.

Clean-Up:
Spills and application mistakes are easily cleaned up with soap and water.
